Blox is happy to give you the automatic integration for your Kraken Exchange!

This is a quick step-by-step guide on how to extract the necessary API keys and details from the exchange and sync your Kraken account automatically into your Blox portfolio.

In order to auto-sync your Kraken account, you will need to log into your Kraken account and go to the ‘settings’ section. To access there, simply put the mouse on top of your username at the top right of your screen as you can see in the below image:

Once selected the ‘settings’ option, click on the ‘API’ category and then ‘Generate New Key’. That will open the API Key creation menu.

In this section, you generate a new API key that will be used to automatically track all of your activities.

To make sure that none of your security settings are affected, make sure to mark the following fields before finishing the process:

– Funds: Query Funds
– Orders & Trades: Query Open Orders & Trades
– Orders & Trades: Query Closed Orders & Trades
– Other: Export Data

Here you have an example to show you how your settings should be set up:

Time to make some magic in Blox! Before you sync your Kraken account, you will need to set up your first Blox portfolio, but in this tutorial, we explain, in a step-by-step guide, how to add a portfolio in case you don’t have one yet.

Once you have it, select the option ‘+’. A new window will appear and it’s as simple as follow the steps. Select the Kraken option and paste in your generated API Key and Secret Key.

From that moment, all your assets in Kraken will be automatically synced, making your life way easier and taking your tracking to the next level.

Please, keep in mind that the this is a ‘read-only’ API access and none of your assets are at risk. Also, note that due to API restrictions set by Kraken, after the initial sync, it could take longer intervals before your account is fully updated.

Here you also have a short video tutorial to visually show you all the steps explained before:
