If you are trading cryptocurrencies, Huobi is one of the biggest exchanges to go to. For this reason, we are happy to announce that from now on you are able to track, automatically (and for free), all your balances and trading information from your Huobi exchange into Blox.
This article is a step-by-step tutorial where you can easily learn how to connect your Huobi account to Blox. Let’s get it started!
To make this integration, you need to send information from the exchange (Huobi) to Blox. The tool to achieve this is called API key. Your API keys are simply two unique strings of number and letters. Easy, right?
The first step is signing into your Huobi account using your private credentials. Once you are in, hover your mouse over your email address till a drop-down menu will appear. Click on “API Management” to generate your private API keys.
Specially in Huobi, this step is extremelly simple. Once in the ‘API Management’ category just select the API creation menu, give it a name and click on “Create”. You don’t need to ‘Bind any IP Address’.
Believe it or not, that’s it. After clicking “create” two unique keys will appear on the screen. Make sure you copy them with no blank spaces before or after the string and save it properly because you’ll need them for the next step. Below you can see an example of a generated API key. You should see something similar to that on your screen.
Let’s move to Blox now. Log in and have your portfolio set up to start the automatic integration. It’s mandatory to have a portfolio, so if you need assistance, don’t worry, we’ve prepared this article ready for you!
The integration process is fast and simple. First click on the “+” button located at the top right side of the page. If you are using our mobile app instead, this button is located at the bottom right of the screen.
You are just a few seconds away from completing your Huobi sync and track all your past, present and future trades and balances automatically. A new pop-up window will appear, you’ll just need to fill in the information.
Select “Exchange Account” and then Huobi as the exchange of choice. Do you remember the keys you created before? Now is time to paste them in the relevant field. Of course, do not forget to give the sync a name to better track your accounts in your portfolio.
We are very sorry if you expected a longer tutorial, but in Blox we love to make things simple and easy. If you find any issue or experience any difficulty, do not hesitate to send us an email to email@example.com and we will be more than happy to help!
Get Better. Get Blox.
