Q & A

What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?

Master Jedi. In fact I refuse to consider myself grown up until I am one.

What do you do at Blox?

Translate the brilliant ideas of our design team into pyramid of compilable abstractions, with just one goal of one user saying: “Wow, it does that, cool!”

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

I’m creating a set of UX behaviours that will make accountants of the world feel like they are space ship pilots while doing their job.

What do you like about working at Blox?

The people. Everyone has unique role, experience and approach, every person stands out, and despite that, we all are working like a well oiled machine. Beyond science. Fantastic experience being a part of such a thing.

What are the values that drive you?

Common Sense, Honesty and Passion are three absolutely universal things that could solve all and any world problem if used combined in 100% situations.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Play board and video games, read, watch movies and TV shows, cook and travel. I can equally enjoy sitting through 3 seasons of Doctor who in a row, a match of Game of Thrones, or mounting a 2000m mountain.

Tell us something we don’t know?

I can make a godlike meal from any literally set of ingredients available.

If you could sit for lunch with anyone on the planet (present/future/past), who would that be and why?

Definitely someone from the future. I don’t know who, and that’s the point. There are ways to learn about past and present without ‘If you could’ scenario. Not about the future though. It would the greatest thing to hack this frustrating limitation of space-time continuum.
